Before you request deletion
Make sure all active hires are completed, outstanding balances are settled, and open disputes are resolved. If an obligation is still active, we may need to complete or resolve it before finalising deletion. Account deletion cannot be undone.
Request account deletion
Send the request from the email address linked to your HireHopping account. Use the subject “Delete my HireHopping account” and include your full name. We may contact you through your registered details to confirm that the request is genuine.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your request and confirm your identity.
- We check for active hires, unresolved payments, disputes, or other obligations connected to the account.
- We delete the eligible account and associated personal data, then confirm when the process is complete.
Data that will be deleted
Subject to necessary legal or operational retention, deletion includes your HireHopping account, profile information, and personal data associated with the account. Information that does not need to be retained will be deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Data we may need to retain
HireHopping may retain limited transaction, payment, tax, dispute, fraud-prevention, moderation, safety, or legal records where required or permitted by law. Retained information will only be kept for the applicable purpose and retention period. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
